Peter is an award winning author with few sales to his name. Simon is a pulp writer with runaway hits for every book he writes. Peter hates Simon and Simon despises Peter, and so it's only fitting that during the last moments of Peters life, just a he decides to kill himself, these two battle it out one last time...

Three male roles (one dressed as a female) - Bar room set with minimal props (30 mins)

Danny is a hard man. An enforcer for a local drug lord. But Danny has found love in the shape of a bar hostess called Tanya. Love doesn't belong in his world. Just pain, fear and hate, and now Danny needs to reconcile the two worlds he lives in, or die in both. Reasons to Rhyme; love and madness dancing a deadly game of lopsided relationships and bitter realities...

This play was performed by Pilotlight Theatre in the Half Moon Pub, Herne Hill, London in October 2009 as part of their New Writers night.
